About

Sid Ylagan is an illustrator in her fourth year at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. She uses her traditional painting background and love of design to craft interesting and detailed creative solutions. Her personal work is overwhelmingly figurative and atmospheric. In an effort to find new compositions, she is constantly figuring out different combinations of color, light, and proportion.

She has been freelancing for over six years and has created illustrations for a variety of purposes. Recently, Sid has been commissioned for poster design, album art, merch design, editorial illustrations, and portraiture. Post-graduation, Sid will continue to grow her freelance career while starting a full time position at Kohl’s Corporate Headquarters as an in-house textile artist.
