I am currently pursing a degree in Illustration with a minor in Communication Design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
I enjoy creating beautiful images. Whether I am using traditional or digital materials, I strive for a certain level of visual appeal. I also enjoy visually problem solving, and have found myself in between the worlds of fine art and illustration. My choice to become an Illustrator was based on that fact that I love to do work for other people. If I can brighten someone’s life, business, home, or bedroom with a piece of art, I will have achieved my goal.
My absolute favorite thing to portray is figures and portraits. Having the ability to capture energy within an image is an amazing thing. My specialties lie in depicting life and light, and being able to observe the subtleties in facial features and proportions. I have been accepting commissions for several years and am always looking for more opportunities to expand my portfolio. It is important for me to put my work into the world. My artwork is a large part of my identity and I intend on making it my career.
